The Green Works project is supported by the DAMU Development Fund under the Economy of Simple Things program. This will be the first and unique plant in Kazakhstan, on the basis of which it is planned to manufacture products for the HoReCa segment on an industrial scale. Its area will be 3 thousand sq. m. It is planned to establish the production of cheeses, ice cream, semi-finished products from dairy raw materials, as well as vacuum-packed vegetables, greens, French fries, etc. In addition, services will be provided for freezing and packaging finished products for local producers, processing waste into compost for greenhouses, and producing canned products according to unique recipes from chefs.
The total amount of investment in the project exceeds 1 billion tenge. Market analysis showed that there are more than 5 thousand public catering establishments in Almaty that need such high-quality products at affordable prices, since European and Russian analogues of these products are much higher. The plant plans to cooperate with the best farms, as well as greenhouses on neighboring plots. Modern technologies allow us to make production environmentally friendly and waste-free. The plant’s managers include specialists with extensive experience in the restaurant business, and it is also planned to train employees with the involvement of foreign experts.
“Our mission is a new level of standard of food production for HoReCa, as well as catering companies,” says Asel Kurmanbek, founder of Green Works. “We would like to Express our gratitude to the “Qoldaý” Entrepreneurship Center, the Almaty city akimat, and the DAMU development Fund for their help and support in implementing our project.”
